A Little Poem

This little stanza I wrote, to show the waves I rode.
The ups, downs and turbulence, since I broke my chivalry code.
I saw that silhouette from afar, and chased it wondering if we could Be.
But courage was needed in the pursuit, which I never had to confess.
There really was no one to blame, as I was engulfed by the Green Sea
Extinguished my friendly flame, made me cold and dark.
As I sailed through the stormy Green, bigger became the whirlpool.
I spiraled down that dark trail, left me alone in the cold.
The illusion was, God's fault, whom put me here,

He works in wonders, but sometimes He doesn't make sense.
We blame Him, because we don't see,
The bigger picture that will free us from this mess.

The Father, He knows best.
